Bella vox box

I came home from work today to find the bella voxbox on my steps finally delivered! VI am surprised at how quickly I am getting new products to try.  i thought there would be months inbetween getting the boxes.
I am excited to try the hair styling product, chocolates,and mascara. But less than excited to try out the tanning lotion since it is not my skin shade, and since I dont wear powdered foundation, the brush won't get use that way.  The brush looks great to paint with, so maybe I will bring it to art class.
I can't really take advantage of the wine offer since I am still very pregnant.
Overall some nice looking products!

Carefree voxbox from influenster

My first voxbox from Influenster arrived today from Care free. The box came with a 20 pack sample of Acti-fresh body shape regular pantyliners.  I am normally a user of pantyliners towards the end of my period, but being pregnant, I am unable to sample them myself.  I did open one up, because I do not like things that are too scented. The. Smell of these pantyliners are not strong, which is a great thing! They feel durable and soft, like they would hold up for someone who is active.

I am still learning how to navigate this influenster thing so we will see how reviewing goes!

Joining influenster

I Joined Influenster in March Of this year.  It was easy to join but I was rather confused about the whole process until I googled it.  As I read up on the process, I began to get familiar with posting reviews, answering questions, keeping up your badges, and answering surveys.  Most blog posts suggest keeping active daily or at least every few days. I think I am on the right path and am trying to answer honestly and review products I love and adore.

Today, I just got notice I was to receive a carefree Voxbox to arrive any day now. I have mixed emotions about being picked for this box.  My first reaction was "Wahooo my firs vox box!!" But then I remembered I answered "no" on the survey that asked if I was interested in reviewing feminine hygeine products because I pregnant with twins.  How am I suppossed to review products I can't use? Maybe my review wll have to be a bit more creative so stay tuned....

First box

Our first bix included: leeks, turnips, kale, garlic scapes, chard, spinach, and some other kind of spring greens. We made garlic scape, leek, and spinach risotto with kale chips on the side. Now we have to figure out what to do with the turnips, and how to store the greens

What did I sign up for?

This December my husband and I signed up to join a local CSA farm share at honey brook organic farm. I have no clue what boc choi or daikon is or how to cook them. The closer we get to opening day the more I think "What did I get myself into "... Follow our blog as we explore how to cook the local and organic produce we get. A picture of our boxed share goodies will be posted each week along with our attempts to cook "new to us" food. There will be both failures and successes(I hope). Anyone reading this probably knows more about cooking than we do but we hope you enjoy seeing what do with our weekly goodies.
